Fireboy DML, the popular Afrobeat artist, recently shed light on the strong bond shared among artists within his record label, YBNL, recounting a moment when Asake and Olamide helped him with his hairstyle.
During a recent interview with Max 102.3 FM Lagos, Fireboy was questioned about the competitiveness within YBNL, a label established by the renowned singer Olamide.
In response, Fireboy expressed that he doesn’t perceive any rivalry among them, stressing that each artist is dedicated to their individual journey. He pointed out that simultaneous releases of songs wouldn’t adversely affect anyone.
Moreover, Fireboy emphasized the genuine affection among the artists, recalling a particular occasion when his mentor Olamide and fellow artist Asake provided assistance with loosening and styling his hair.
