Cubana Chief Priest, a well-known socialite, has finally spoken out after being granted bail of N10 million.
Earlier, Naijalog reported that Cubana Chief Priest pleaded not guilty to a case of alleged naira abuse filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Cubana Chief Priest appeared before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos, on Wednesday, where the EFCC charged him with three counts related to the abuse of the naira.
After pleading not guilty, the court granted him bail in the amount of N10m with two sureties in like sum. The sureties must be gainfully employed with the federal or state government and not less than grade level 16.
Following his bail, Cubana Chief Priest took to his Instagram page to express gratitude to his friends and fans for their concerns.
He said his arraignment and subsequent bail have confirmed that he is not small.
He went on to boast about his wealth.
Cubana Chief Priest wrote, “Seeing all your messages and love. I’m so humbled. Now it’s confirmed CP [Chief Priest] no small. Money na water.”
