Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has vowed that the All Progressives Congress, APC, would sack President Goodluck Jonathan and his team from Aso Rock in 2015.
He thus advised Jonathan to start preparing his handover notes now as the APC was putting finishing touch to take over Aso Rock in 2015.
Governor Okorocha made this declaration in Owerri, when he played host to APC local government chairmen from the 36 states of the federation, who gathered in the city to celebrate his 52nd birthday.
“Come 2015, APC will be in Aso Rock, but we must be aggressive to drag PDP and its members out of the presidency and indeed, Nigeria”, Governor Okorocha said.
“I have the capacity to govern the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I must also make it abundantly clear that the PDP and indeed, President Goodluck Jonathan, cannot defeat me in the forthcoming general election”, Okorocha boasted.
He, however, pointed out that he would not run unless the masses ask him to run, stressing that his mission in Nigeria had not been actualized.
“My mission in Nigeria is yet to be fully actualized. This is largely as a result of the activities of the elites, who have denied me several opportunities to serve my people”, Okorocha said.
The Governor promised that if given the opportunity to rule Nigeria, he would fight Boko Haram insurgents to a halt through the decentralization of power to the grassroot.
“You all must understand that Nigeria can be better if the masses elect a credible leader to rule the country”, Okorocha said.
