A two-year-old girl died at the Cape Town railway station on Monday morning, Western Cape police said.
“Kindly be advised that an inquest case has been opened for investigation after a two-year-old girl died at the station today at 11:00,” a short statement from police said.
The cause of death was not immediately known. Police said she was with her parents when she died.
