No fewer than 19 people have been confirmed dead and 50 others seriously injured after two suicide bombers attacked a market in Meme town in the Far North Region of Cameroon today February 19th.
There has so far been no official claim of responsibility for the attack but officials pointed the finger at Nigeria-based Boko Haram, which has been blamed for a campaign of suicide attacks in neighbouring countries Cameroon, Chad and Niger over the past year.
The corpse of the deceased have been taken to a morgue while those that were injured have been taken to a government owned hospital.
