TRIBUTES have poured in for the ‘beautiful and much loved’ 16-year-old girl who died in a car crash in Waterford last night.
The tragic teen has been named locally as Katie Murphy from Ballinamona in Waterford.
The schoolgirl was a passenger in the car when it ploughed into a wall on Cliff Road, Newtown, Tramore in Co Waterford last night at 8.20pm
Two of her teenage pals were seriously injured in the accident and are being treated at University Hospital Waterford.
The 17-year-old male driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
