During the cook-a-thon, the Ondo chef, known only as Adeyeye Adeola, is said to have turned off the gas burner so she could consume the meal she had made.
The Ondo Chef set out on a mission to beat Hilda’s outstanding 150-hour cook-a-thon record and set a new Guinness World Record for the longest solo cooking marathon.
She began a few days ago to rousing cheers from certain users of social media.
The chef is now participating in a cook-a-thon at the TMF Lounge and Bar in Ile Oluji, Ondo state, Nigeria.
One of the requirements for the cook-a-thon Guinness World Record is that the gas burner must not be turned off while competing. The Ondo cook was reportedly spotted eating one of the dishes she had made while turning off the gas burner, according to reports and a video shared on social media.
