The Federal Government is set to arraign 130 individuals on Friday, including 113 foreign nationals (87 males and 26 females) primarily from China and Malaysia, along with 17 Nigerian collaborators (4 males and 13 females), for their alleged involvement in serious cybercrimes, hacking, and activities threatening national security.

The suspects were arrested in a coordinated police raid on a building located in the Next Cash and Carry area of Jahi, Abuja. The operation, which took place on November 3, 2024, was led by AIG Benneth Igweh of the Nigeria Police Force Zone 7 Command, in collaboration with the National Cyber Crime Centre (NPF-NCCC).

The arrested individuals were reportedly using advanced technology, including computers, to facilitate their criminal activities. They will be brought before Justice Ekerete Akpan of the Federal High Court for arraignment.
