A 100 level student of the University of Ibadan, who attempted to commit suicide by drinking bleach after being jilted by her lover was rushed to the University College Hospital (UCH) to save her from dying.
The female student(name withheld) allegedly drank a solution called Hypo on Sunday Nov 4, after her long time boyfriend ended their relationship. The poison was however flushed out of her system before causing much harm .
But we learnt that she might have sustained minor kidney damage.
