Global sports market research experts, Repucom’, have named Real Madrid’s forward Cristiano Ronaldo, as the most marketable player in the world.
Ronaldo, who helped the Spanish giants finally clinch La Decima this season, is ahead of his perennial rival Lionel Messi and Gerard Pique, who are in second and third place respectively.
The 28-year-old has 26million Twitter followers and 82million fans on Facebook. Ronaldo is also seen as the best ‘trend-setter’ and is known by 83.9% of people globally.
