English Premier League champions Leicester City are considering bringing in another Nigerian ‘Wilfred Ndidi’ to their team in the January transfer window .
The Foxes have reportedly made an offer for 19-year-old midfielder, who plays for Genk in Belgium.
According to reports in Belgium, Leicester has lodged a £15.5million bid for the starlet.
Ndidi who can play in central midfield or defense has caught the eye with his mature displays for Genk over the past two seasons.
The club’s technical director Dimitri De Conde told the paper: “Ndidi and [team-mate Leon] Bailey have indicated that they want to stay until the end of the season.
“But suppose there comes a mega bid, it is very difficult to keep them here.”
Ndidi has made 30 appearances for his current Belgium employers, scoring two goals.
