SCARRED Sophie Hobson today slammed prosecutors after her best pal walked free from court – despite glassing her in the face.
Devastated Sophie, 21, was left needing stitches to a gaping wound after Victoria Doran, 24, lashed out at her for being “boring”.
Her home was left like “a murder scene” after the unprovoked attack in April and she lost her job as a carer.
Violent Doran was charged with grievous bodily harm.
But in a shocking twist prosecutors offered to drop it – so long as she pleaded guilty to the lesser offence of wounding.
Single-mum Doran admitted the charge and walked free from Leeds Crown Court with a 12-month prison sentence, suspended for two years.
As well as the suspended sentence she was told to do 180 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £500 compensation to her victim.
