Students of the University of Ibadan (UI) can now earn money as they study for a degree at Nigeria’s premiere university, a statement on the school’s website reveals.
Application for the 2015 Work and Study Scheme is now open.

“This is to remind members of the University community about the Work and Study Scheme which allows students to engage in jobs that can fetch them tokens to complement whatever they get from parents/guardians,” the official announcement read.
Positions available include Research Assistantship, Library Assistantship, Lesson Teachers (All Subjects), Computer operator /Analyst, Ushering job, Servers at Occasions, Sales Representatives /Marketing of Products, Catering, Security, Master of Ceremony and light entertainment during occasions, Event Planning and Organization, Bead making, Sewing and Fashion Designing, Receptionist, Gardening and others like house cleaning and laundry.
Interested students must however meet some requirements to quality for the scheme.
The operational terms states that applicants must be in 200 level and above, have a CGPA of 3.5 and above, be of sound health, be ready to work and possess good character.
