Prolific music producer, Tee-y mix has called on the government to enact laws that will curb piracy and protect the rights of artistes.
He said this while speaking at a monthly interactive programme organised by the Creative Entrepreneurs Association of Nigerian CEAN, which held at the British Council, Ikoyi on Wednesday.
The November edition was tagged,”Making 2015 impactful as a creative entrepreneur. ”
Tee-y-mix advised the ” Nigerian government to put in place penalties for those who infringe the rights of artistes.”
Also at the same event, Nollywood actress and producer,Lilian Amah Aluko noted that a whole lot of opportunities abound in the Nigerian entertainment industry, urging practitioners to invest more in research,self development and creating a unique brand for themselves.
She also opined that they must use their talents to actualise their dreams.
Another guest speaker, Espera Donovoussi, the Cultural manager Mokolo project in South Africa noted opined that ” it’s hightime we began to work as professionals,we must continue to work as a team and improve on networking with other parts of the world”.
