Formula 1 legend, Michael Schumacher who has been in a medically induced coma since December after a severe ski accident is showing “small signs of progress” in his fight to recover .
Spokeswoman to seven-time F1 world champ, Sabine Kehm, confirmed he was making progress.
It comes after she revealed more than a week ago that the German was showing “moments of consciousness and awakening”, suggesting he had opened his eyes.
Miss Kehm said at the time: “Michael is making progress on his way. He shows moments of consciousness and awakening.”
She added: “We are on his side during his long and difficult fight, together with the team of the hospital in Grenoble and we keep remaining confident.”
It emerged last week the seven-time F1 world champ, 45, would eventually be moved from hospital to a rehabilitation facility, after rumour suggested that his wife Corinna planned to build a medical suite for him at their home in Gland, Switzerland.
