Kurdish and Iraqi forces have ‘recaptured’ two oil fields from the IS rebels.
Just 2-weeks after seizing Iraq’s largest dam(Mosul) with support of US air strikes from IS,the Kurdish force known as peshmerga said they have ‘recaptured’ Iraqi oil wells of Ain Zala and Batma in Northern Iraq.
The Islamic State has captured most of northern Iraq and parts of neighboring Syria in an effort to establish an Islamic caliphate erasing the borders between the two states.
This recent successful defense from the Kurdish group came on the back of tge ilotary support from the west.
